Position Summary Tech II responsible for safe, high‑quality field work in field services—executing work orders, maintaining assets, and delivering responsive customer service. Key Responsibilities Complete service orders (turn‑on/off, rereads, meter tests) within SLAs; document results. Investigate high/low usage, no‑reads, and tamper alarms; escalate anomalies. Perform utility locates/mark‑outs and customer appointments professionally. Use mobile apps/handhelds for work orders and inventory; maintain vehicle and tools. Support emergency response and after‑hours rotations as assigned. Work independently on routine tasks; request guidance on complex issues. Provide courteous customer and stakeholder communications at job sites. Qualifications 2-4 years relevant field experience in Field Services operations within water/wastewater/public works. Strong safety mindset (confined space, trenching/MOT, PPE); clean driving record. CMMS/mobile work order proficiency and accurate documentation. Education & Certifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical coursework preferred. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Field‑based role with frequent driving, outdoor work in varied weather, and exposure to traffic, confined spaces, biological/chemical hazards, energized equipment, and uneven terrain.
