Job Description

Your role The Field Service Technician will support the growth of Power Technique's aftermarket business by delivering high-quality maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for portable air compressors, dewatering pumps, and generators.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, compressors, pumps, generators, and related equipment across Atlas Copco product lines. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure equipment reliability and performance. Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, testing, and completed work. Deliver exceptional customer service through professional communication and technical support. Train and mentor fellow technicians to strengthen overall team capabilities and technical expertise. Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and properly using personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain required tools and equipment in good working condition. Support business needs through occasional overtime and other duties as assigned. To succeed, you will need We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. You have a minimum 3 years of experience performing service on major brand equipment and engines - including electronic engine diagnosis and troubleshooting experience.
Qualifications and attributes:
Ability to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and support equipment, including identifying and ordering required parts. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform technical testing, diagnostics, and repairs. Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of making sound decisions with minimal supervision. Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and represent the company professionally. Proficient in written communication, email etiquette, Microsoft Excel, and electronic parts management systems. Organized, quality-focused, and committed to continuous improvement and finding effective repair solutions. Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including temperature extremes. Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise through ongoing training. Factory training on Cummins, John Deere, Perkins, Volvo, Kubota, Kohler, and/or Scania engines is preferred; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
