Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Field Service Technician specializing in Critical Power and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical systems that ensure critical infrastructure remains operational. Your expertise will help deliver reliable power solutions to a diverse range of clients, supporting their mission-critical operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge energy storage technology and electrical systems in the field, providing essential support to our customers' power resilience. Responsibilities Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of UPS and BESS units across various locations. Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools, schematics, and blueprints to identify faults accurately. Conduct electrical diagnostics on AC/DC systems, ensuring proper functioning of electronic equipment and power components. Utilize hand tools and soldering equipment for repair tasks, including electrical soldering and component replacement. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting documents to guide repairs and installations. Test electronic systems using multimeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to verify system integrity. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating technical information clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during service visits. Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed in compliance with company standards. Support computer hardware troubleshooting related to networked power systems and control units when necessary. Follow safety protocols rigorously while working with low voltage electrical systems to prevent hazards. Qualifications
ASSOCIATES DEGREE OR HIGHER VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
Proven experience as a service technician working with electrical diagnostics, electronic equipment testing, or related fields. Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, schematics reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation. Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as multimeters, ohmmeters, soldering irons, and other electronic testing devices. Hands-on experience with electrical equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting electronic systems. Mechanical knowledge relevant to installing and servicing power systems and energy storage units. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively. Familiarity with computer hardware setup, networking concepts related to control systems, and software troubleshooting is a plus. Ability to read engineering troubleshooting guides and schematics accurately under pressure.
VALID/CURRENT
