Job Description

Job Description About the Opportunity Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Technician to join a growing industrial services organization supporting a variety of commercial and industrial customers throughout the region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and working in different environments each day. Successful candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities
  • Travel to customer locations to support field operations and service projects
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, repair, and installation activities
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with implementing solutions
  • Utilize hand tools and measuring equipment to complete assigned work
  • Complete documentation and communicate project updates with internal teams
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas
  • Support emergency and after-hours service activities as needed

  • 2+ years of industrial, mechanical, maintenance, construction, field service, or related experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Experience using common hand tools and equipment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor environments
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as required
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • OSHA certifications
  • Prior field service experience
  • Military experience
  • Experience mentoring or training others
Compensation:
$30-$45/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
