Espresso & Commercial Coffee Equipment Austin/Central Texas $24
- 33/hour based on experience + overtime + performance bonuses You don't have to know coffee equipment.
You have to know how to figure things out. If you're the person everyone calls when something breaks, if you genuinely like diagnosing problems, working with your hands, and getting things running again, we'd like to talk to you. BinxCorp is a growing speciality coffee equipment service and sales company based in Central Texas. We work with the businesses that serve coffee, from independent cafes to major restaurant groups, and corporate offices. When one of their machines goes down, they need someone who can walk in, assess the situation, and get it to work. That's where you come in. What You'll Do You'll be out in the field servicing commercial coffee equipment at customer locations throughout Central Texas.
Your day might include:
Diagnosing and repairing commercial espresso machines, drip coffee brewers, grinders, and related equipment Installing and maintaining coffee equipment Performing preventative maintenance Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and water-related issues Servicing water filtration equipment Reading service information, schematics, and equipment docs Using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and basic electrical testing equipment Documenting repairs, parts & service recommendations Communicating clearly with customers about what you found and what needs to happen next Knowing when you've got the answer, and knowing when it's time to ask for help Every day is different. That's kind of the point. You Do NOT Need Coffee Experience Seriously. If you've worked in HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, refrigeration, automotive, industrial maintenance, commercial kitchen equipment, restaurant equipment, manufacturing, or another hands-on technical trade, we want to hear from you. If you already know coffee equipment, fantastic. If you've never touched an espresso machine in your life but you're mechanically sharp, curious, dependable, and willing to learn, we still want to hear from you. We'll teach you the coffee part! What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Mechanically inclined and genuinely enjoys troubleshooting Comfortable working independently A strong problem solver who can work through something instead of immediately throwing in the towel Reliable and accountable Comfortable communicating with customers Willing to speak up when you're stuck or in over your head Confident enough to make decisions, but humble enough to ask questions Positive, resilient, and adaptable Comfortable working in tight spaces and under counters Able to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 80-100lbs Comfortable using basic hand and power tools Able to maintain a clean driving record Legally authorized to work in the United States Basic tools are required. Our career path is designed to evolve with you: Entry Tech
- > Service Tech
- > Senior Tech
- > Trainer
- > Whatever Comes Next We're a growing company.
That means the path isn't limited to a box on an org chart. If you want to become exceptional at the technical side of the trade, we'll help you get there. If you want to train other techs, we'll help you get there. If you eventually want to help build a branch, lead a team, or take on something we haven't created yet, we'll figure that out too. What Makes BinxCorp Different? We're a small company, and that's intentional. You aren't a number buried three levels underneath someone you've never met. Our owners are involved. We know our people. We know our customers. And when you have a problem, you have people in your corner. We've built BinxCorp through hard work, integrity, good relationships, and a pretty simple philosophy: If we say we're going to do something, we do it. Our customers count on us when they can't afford to be down. And we expect our techs to be the kind of people who hear: "it can't be down" ...and immediately start figuring out how to get it running. We're looking for people who are resilient, reliable, positive, scrappy, friendly, and genuinely interested in getting better at what they do. We want you to feel valued here. We want you to grow your craft. And we'd really like you to be happy to come to work. Interested? If you're a great tech but you've never worked on an espresso machine, apply. If you're currently working in another trade and wondering what the hell coffee equipment has to do with your career, apply. If you're already the person people call when something breaks, definitely apply! Tell us what you've worked on, what you know how to fix, and what you're interested in learning next. We'll take it from there!
