Full Job Description Water/Mitigation Technician Location:
North Texas (McKinney / Celina / Prosper area) About the Role Our Client is looking for a Water/Mitigation Technician to join a growing North Texas restoration team. You'll be on the front lines of water, fire, and mold mitigation projects — responding to losses, setting up equipment, and helping properties get on the path to recovery. This is a hands-on field role, working directly at customer properties and job sites. What You'll Do Respond to water, fire, and mold mitigation calls, including on-call/emergency response as scheduled Perform moisture detection, water extraction, and structural drying Set up, monitor, and maintain drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.) Perform demolition of affected materials as needed Document job site conditions, moisture readings, and progress for accurate reporting Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site Communicate professionally and clearly with customers throughout the mitigation process What We're Looking For Mitigation experience preferred IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, etc.) are valuable and a strong plus Willingness to work flexible hours, including rotating on-call/emergency shifts Physically able to perform demolition, equipment setup, and other hands-on field work Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with customers during stressful situations A stable work history and genuine interest in building a long-term career with Our Client Compensation & Perks Up to approximately $26/hour Additional details on benefits and perks provided during the interview process
