You'll begin as a trainee alongside experienced lead installers and you'll learn all aspects of the mechanical installations process of high-tech imaging and diagnostic systems (X-Ray, Computer Tomography, Magnetic Resonance, etc.) in medical facilities. We provide opportunities for growth and advancement including career pathways, development opportunities, and a hands-on training program. After the initial training phase, you will have the option to achieve internal certifications and grow into a lead installer role.
A snapshot of this role:
Travel to medical facilities weekly within our regions to assemble and install medical imaging devices (this includes rigging, unpacking, and setting the devices in place). Learn all aspects of the installations process from an experience lead installer (on-site job training). Setup control rooms and equipment. Pull and connect power cables. Perform startups of the devices. Please note!!!! This is a travel and overtime intensive position and requires time away from home. All travel hours, etc. count towards overtime and installers can accumulate 60 hours and more per week (incl. travel time). We also pay a daily cash meal allowance for all overnight travel. The pay range for this position is $21.07 to $24.24 hourly. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, and experience. What makes a successful team member: You are able and willing to travel extensively without any restrictions as we do operate nationwide. Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. You can lift and move up to 80 lbs. and fulfill other physical requirements customary for this role incl. climbing ladders, working in smaller confined spaces or aloft, etc. Identify wire and cable colors. You can work within hospital environments, around live imaging systems, and complete our pre-employment screening processes which includes background and physical checks and drug testing. You bring basic relevant industry experiences or vocational training and have a passion for mechanics, technology, and precision work. Previous Installation experience of Medical Imaging Equipment with major OEMS is a plus!
