Duties Perform water damage restoration tasks, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized power tools and equipment Conduct fire damage cleanup by removing soot, ash, and debris with appropriate cleaning techniques and hand tools Execute mold remediation procedures safely and effectively to eliminate mold growth and prevent future issues Assist with asbestos abatement projects following strict safety protocols when necessary Use construction skills to repair or replace damaged structures, drywall, flooring, or carpeting during restoration projects Operate various hand tools and power tools safely to carry out cleaning, demolition, or repair tasks Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and progress updates for each project Follow safety guidelines diligently to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and team members Qualifications Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire cleanup techniques, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement is a plus Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in construction and restoration work Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety procedures accurately Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during demanding projects Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving industry standards Must be available for on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergency response situations.
