Job Description

job summary: Seeking a skilled Field Service Technician who is ready to take their electrical and carpentry experience on the road! This role is heavy on electrical work
  • including power hookups, control systems, and grounding
  • and while a licensed electrician is preferred, deep practical knowledge of the NEC is essential.
You must be comfortable with a demanding travel schedule that includes being on-site for up to three weeks at a time, working 10 hour days and weekends, and passing frequent drug screenings for utility access. If this sounds like you, apply now!

  • 120,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: Travel frequently to client sites for up to three weeks at a time to handle installations and repairsExecute heavy electrical work, including hooking up power and control systems based on engineering prints and schematicsMaintain a deep understanding of electrical wiring standards and the National Electric Code (NEC)Perform carpentry and construction tasks such as framing, sheathing, trim work, and installing floor tilesInstall specialized equipment including air conditioning units, battery systems, cable ladders, and various grounding systemsCarry out building maintenance such as hanging or repairing doors, fixing locks, and applying concrete finishes or coatingsOperate a wide range of power tools, air tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficientlyAct as the primary point of contact for customers on-site, providing clear communication and professional representation for the companySolve complex technical problems and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues independently with little supervisionCommit to a demanding work schedule that often includes six-day work weeks and 10-hour daily shiftsMeet strict safety and compliance standards, including passing a DOT physical and undergoing frequent drug screenings required for utility site access qualifications: Experience level: Entry LevelMinimum 3 years of experience
