About the Role PuroClean of North Seattle is a locally owned property restoration company helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, mold, biohazard, and other property damage. We're building our team and looking for a dependable, hands-on Restoration Technician who wants to learn a skilled trade and grow with us. No restoration experience is required. We will train the right person. You'll work directly alongside our owners and production team while learning the restoration industry, earning certifications, and developing the skills to take on greater responsibility over time. What You'll Do Assist with water extraction, structural drying, demolition, cleaning, and other restoration services Set up, monitor, move, and remove drying and restoration equipment Learn to take moisture readings and monitor drying progress Take jobsite photos and maintain accurate documentation Keep jobsites, equipment, vehicles, and work areas clean, organized, and job-ready Follow PuroClean safety, production, documentation, and customer-service standards Communicate professionally and compassionately with customers experiencing property damage Clearly explain the work being performed and help customers understand the restoration process Listen for additional customer needs and appropriately recommend relevant PuroClean services Help deliver an experience that earns positive reviews, referrals, and repeat business Participate in ongoing training and industry certification Property restoration is a 24/7 emergency service business, so some evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call work may be required. What We're Looking For Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record High school diploma or GED Reliable, punctual, and willing to work hard Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable talking with customers and making appropriate service recommendations Comfortable working with your hands and learning new skills Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and remain physically active for extended periods Comfortable working in damaged properties, crawl spaces, and other restoration environments Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established processes Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and take on increasing responsibility Previous experience in restoration, construction, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, facilities, cleaning, customer service, hospitality, retail, or other hands-on/customer-facing work is helpful, but not required . Compensation & Growth Starting pay: $21.30/hour Full-time, hourly position 40 hours of paid vacation per year, accrued throughout the year and available for use after 90 days of employment Paid sick and safe time accrued in accordance with Washington State and Seattle requirements Paid on-the-job training Opportunity to earn the IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification Pay increase upon successful completion of WRT certification Additional opportunities for increased pay as skills, certifications, independence, and responsibilities grow Opportunity to advance toward Senior Technician and Lead Technician responsibilities We're looking for someone who wants more than a short-term job.
