COATS is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to become part of our innovative team. In this role, you'll handle the installation, training, and repair of our well-known Coats®, BaseLine™, and Ammco® tire and wheel service equipment —helping customers keep their shops running efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing:

Develop Expertise:

Build in-depth knowledge of our premium equipment through a structured 4-week training program.

Deliver Support:

Serve as the trusted expert for customers—installing, troubleshooting, and providing hands-on training. Make a

Your journey begins with two weeks of classroom training in Nashville, followed by two additional weeks in the field working side by side with an experienced technician—equipping you with the skills and confidence to excel.

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or GED required (technical degree or certification a plus). 1-2 years of hands-on mechanical and/or electrical repair or installation experience. Understanding of electrical systems and comfort using technology. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (annual MVR checks required). Commitment to safety and reporting unsafe conditions when identified. Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as kneeling or bending. Comfortable with regular driving within your assigned territory.

Pay Range:

Starting base pay is $20.00 per hour , plus eligibility for productivity-based commissions. Total compensation typically falls between $20.00 and $36.00 per hour , depending on performance.
