Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Field Service Specialist, you will provide specialized repair and maintenance services for diagnostic imaging (radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, etc.) and biomedical equipment, expanding on FSS I duties.

Daily, you will primarily repair and maintain intermediate imaging equipment (DR, basic CT/CT Sim, oncology, Vascular/Specials), leveraging training to reduce contract dependency. You will lead within Clinical Engineering, assisting FSS with imaging equipment repair, and manage service emergencies and communications with stakeholders. Your duties also include parts ordering, Account Manager coverage, identifying new service opportunities, analyzing cost histories for expense reduction, and supporting general biomedical equipment as needed.

Job Requirements Required Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, equivalent military education, upon hire or Technical School graduate of technical program,, upon hire or training validated through training certificates, upon hire or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years' experience servicing technical equipmen, upon hire Valid Driver's License This position requires participation in a rotational on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be available to respond to urgent service needs outside of regular business hours and may be required to return to the facility on short notice.
