Restoration Technician Rampart Restoration Tacoma, WA Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Water damage restoration Fire restoration Driver's License Driving Power tools Construction Hand tools Safety protocol implementation Full Job Description Job Overview This is a full-time, on-site role for a Restoration Technician based in the greater South Sound area. The Restoration Technician will be responsible for responding to cleanup projects, including water, fire, and mold damage restoration and environmental mitigation. Daily tasks include assessing site conditions, executing remediation procedures, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and maintaining necessary documentation. This role requires working closely with clients and team members to restore properties effectively and compassionately. Duties Perform water damage restoration tasks, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and power tools Conduct fire damage cleanup, including debris removal and soot cleaning with appropriate hand tools and cleaning agents Execute mold remediation procedures safely and effectively to eliminate mold growth and prevent future issues Assist with asbestos abatement projects following safety protocols and industry standards Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, construction, and repair work necessary for restoration projects Clean and restore carpets, upholstery, and other affected surfaces using professional cleaning techniques Support the overall restoration process by documenting work progress, maintaining safety standards, and communicating effectively with team members Requirements Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire cleanup, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement is a plus Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various environments and conditions Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols at all times Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred for travel between job sites

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
