We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team, dedicated to installing and maintaining automatic lubrication systems on mobile mining equipment such as draglines, shovels, and in manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will be the responsible for ensuring optimal operation, troubleshooting technical issues, and delivering exceptional customer service on-site. Core responsibilities include:
Install and service automatic lubrication systems on mobile mining equipment and plant machinery Perform emergency and scheduled repairs involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders Diagnose issues, replace/repair components, and complete preventive maintenance Use a range of hand tools, power tools, meters, and material-handling equipment Operate forklifts, service trucks, and lubricant pump trucks Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors and customers Follow DOT, MSHA, and OSHA safety requirements and maintain a clean, safe work area
Physical & Environmental Expectations:
Lift/move up to 50 lbs routinely Work outdoors in varied weather conditions Work at heights and in confined spaces Provide 24-hour field response when required What You Bring No experience requirements—SLS provides training for motivated individuals with strong mechanical aptitude.
Required:
High school diploma/GED Ability to work independently or on a team Clean driving record
Preferred:
MSHA certification Welding experience
CDL A or B Pay:
From $23.50 per hour
