This one treats you like the face of the business. Our customers invite us into their homes and judge everything — the workmanship, the cleanup, the way we explain what we're doing and why. We're looking for an experienced technician who takes as much pride in how they leave a customer feeling as in how they leave the work looking. About TruBlue Home Service Ally TruBlue Home Service Ally provides handyman services, home maintenance, and senior-focused home safety modifications for busy families and older adults who want one trusted, background-checked partner for their home. We win on reliability and trust: we show up when we say we will, do the job right, and leave the home better than we found it. About the role Twelve months in, success looks like this: you're the technician our repeat customers ask for by name. Your jobs come back clean on quality checks, your reviews mention you personally, and you can walk into an unfamiliar problem — a door that won't close, a leak with no obvious source — diagnose it, explain the options in plain language, and fix it right the first time. What you'll do Complete a wide variety of residential repairs and maintenance: carpentry, drywall, painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical, fixture installation, and punch lists Diagnose problems on-site and explain options, costs, and timelines to homeowners in plain language Own the customer experience end to end — arrive on time, communicate proactively if anything changes, and confirm the customer is satisfied before you leave Keep job sites clean and treat every home with respect — shoe covers, drop cloths, full cleanup Represent the company professionally in appearance and conduct Flag additional repair or maintenance needs honestly — recommendations customers can trust, never upselling for its own sake What we're looking for Required 3+ years of paid experience in handyman work, home repair, remodeling, or construction Proficiency across multiple trades: carpentry, drywall, painting, basic plumbing, and basic electrical Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Your own truck or van capable of hauling tools and materials Your own hand and power tools Ability to pass a background check Clear, courteous communication — you're comfortable talking with homeowners, not just working around them Nice to have A trade license (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general contractor) Experience with property maintenance or senior home safety modifications (grab bars, ramps, accessibility work) Comfort documenting jobs with photos and notes in a mobile app Schedule and structure We're flexible: full-time, part-time, or steady project work — and open to hiring the right person as a W-2 employee or engaging them as a 1099 subcontractor (subcontractors carry their own general liability insurance). Tell us what arrangement works for you and we'll figure out the fit. 2u5KPwl4C4
