• We are looking for an experienced Facility Maintenance Technician who is dependable, hardworking, and organized.

We have locations in Orange, Costa Mesa, Sunset Beach and, Oceanside with more to come! GCBC has a multitude of ongoing projects from small to large and needs someone adept in handling basic repairs and cosmetic upkeep. The right candidate will also have the willingness and ability gain skills through OTJ training. They should be ready to grow as we train and promote from within. We are looking for someone who works well with a wide team and is friendly & responsive.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Travel between each location based on project needs. Drywall patching, finishing, and painting. Basic plumbing tasks including but not limited to: snaking drains, patching leaks, replacing faucets, flushing water heaters, etc. Basic electrical tasks including but not limited to: changing outlets, appliance repairs, low voltage circuit diagnosis, etc. Complete general maintenance work such as cleaning, dusting, sweeping, etc. Move heavy furniture, appliances, and equipment. Perform repairs on company machinery, equipment, vehicles, or appliances when necessary. Able to keep a clean and organized workspace including parts and tools inventories. Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and convert measurements. Prioritize and complete tasks per management's request in a timely manner. On the Job Training Available (Overqualified candidates may already possess these skills) Ability to read and interpret equipment drawings & manuals to diagnose equipment malfunctions. Basic HVAC skills (recharge systems, diagnose and repair)

Plumbing:

Copper sweating and hydro-jetting

Metalwork:

Welding and fabricating.

Woodwork:

Milling and Finishing Work with vendors to schedule repairs and other projects outside the scope of this position.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent qualification required. A minimum of 3+ years working experience in a similar role Comfortable using hand tools and power tools. Able to follow written and verbal instructions. Through text messaging, and other forms of company software. Must be organized, detail-oriented and have good communication skills. A problem solver! Valid Driver's License Must be willing to work in all three Orange County locations.

Compensation:

$24

• Negotiable depending on experience Working Hours
• approximately 35 to 45 per week Hours, days will be based on projects, needs of locations
