Job Description

About the Position We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Vacation Rental Property Inspector to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring every vacation home is fully Guest Ready before each arrival by maintaining our high standards of cleanliness, presentation, functionality, and overall guest experience. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, has strong problem-solving skills, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to complete minor maintenance tasks when needed. Responsibilities Conduct detailed pre-arrival and post-departure property inspections. Ensure each property meets the company's Guest Ready standards. Complete digital inspection checklists using company software. Identify and report maintenance, housekeeping, or safety concerns. Create work orders and communicate issues to supervisors Complete work orders Perform quality checks on: Appliances HVAC systems Lights and electrical fixtures Furniture Linens and towels General cleanliness Deliver guest arrival amenities. Retrieve and return lost and found items. Assist with rapid turnovers between back-to-back reservations. Provide outstanding customer service by helping resolve guest concerns promptly.
Perform Minor Maintenance Tasks Including:
Changing HVAC air filters Replacing light bulbs Replacing smoke detector batteries Turning pool heaters and pumps on/off and basic troubleshooting Replacing pool filters Touch-up painting Minor plumbing repairs, including: Toilet flappers Toilet handles Fill valves Drain popup assemblies Other minor repairs as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-3 years of experience in hospitality, vacation rentals, property management, maintenance, or customer service preferred. Valid driver's license required. Reliable personal vehicle required (travel between properties). Smartphone required for accessing company software. Must be fluent in English. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Comfortable using technology, including smartphones and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, etc.). Comfortable using ladders and performing basic home maintenance, or willing to learn. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Strong time management and multitasking abilities. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Weekend availability is required. Must complete a W-9 (1099 Independent Contractor position). Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 pounds . Frequently walk, bend, climb stairs, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Comfortable using ladders. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in Florida weather conditions. Capable of moving quickly between multiple properties throughout the day. $18.00 per hour (1099 Independent Contractor)
Hours:
