Job Description
Maintenance Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician Handz On is seeking a dependable, skilled, and self-motivated Maintenance Handyman to help maintain and improve our commercial properties. If you're someone who enjoys working with your hands, solving problems, and takes pride in quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you. This is a hands-on position for someone with experience across multiple trades who can work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Perform general property maintenance and repairs Drywall installation, repair, mudding, sanding, and finishing Interior and exterior painting Basic plumbing repairs and fixture installation Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs Roofing repairs and maintenance Siding installation and repairs Flooring installation and repairs Carpentry and finish work Door, window, trim, and hardware installation Perform preventive maintenance on company properties Diagnose maintenance issues and recommend solutions Maintain a clean and organized work area Operate power tools and construction equipment safely Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner Assist with renovations and remodeling projects as needed Qualifications 3+ years of handyman, construction, or property maintenance experience preferred Experience in multiple trades including drywall, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, and siding Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance problems independently Experience using hand and power tools safely Ability to lift 50+ pounds Comfortable working on ladders and rooftops when necessary Strong attention to detail Reliable transportation Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude Preferred Skills HVAC experience Framing and finish carpentry Tile installation Concrete repair Landscaping experience Welding or fabrication experience is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time, year-round employment Opportunities for overtime Variety of projects—no two days are the same Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and advancement
