Job Description
Job Summary ReadyFix NC is looking for a reliable, experienced, and self-motivated Field Service Handyman to join our growing team. This position currently offers approximately 20-30 hours per week (about 3 working days per week), with an opportunity to transition into a full-time position as our workload continues to grow. We provide maintenance and repair services for commercial properties throughout North Carolina. Every day is different, and you'll work independently while completing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks at multiple job sites. We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, communicates professionally with clients, solves problems independently, and wants to grow with our company. Responsibilities Complete commercial maintenance work orders at assigned properties. Repair and finish drywall. Perform painting and touch-up work. Repair and install doors, locks, door closers, and hardware. Complete basic carpentry and trim repairs. Perform minor plumbing repairs. Perform minor electrical repairs. Repair flooring, baseboards, and other interior finishes. Apply caulking and sealants where needed. Diagnose maintenance issues and recommend solutions. Communicate with the office regarding materials, additional work, or unexpected issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment. Deliver excellent customer service while representing ReadyFix NC professionally. Requirements Minimum 3 years of professional handyman or commercial maintenance experience. Strong experience with drywall repair and finishing. Experience with painting and touch-up work. Experience repairing doors, locks, and hardware. Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical repairs. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills. Good communication skills in English. Valid driver's license. Reliable personal vehicle. Own basic hand tools. Ability to lift 50+ lbs when necessary. Preferred Qualifications Experience working on commercial properties. Experience with property management maintenance work. Experience performing multiple trades. Ability to efficiently manage daily work orders.
