Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building interiors, including walls, ceilings, floors, and fixtures to uphold quality standards. Repair plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and pipe replacements, ensuring all plumbing functions are optimal. Conduct electrical work such as replacing switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and troubleshooting electrical equipment using schematics and ohmmeters. Maintain HVAC systems by troubleshooting issues, replacing filters, and assisting with repairs to ensure climate control comfort throughout the property. Utilize hand tools and power tools for carpentry tasks like repairing furniture, installing fixtures, or building small structures as needed. Oversee facilities equipment maintenance including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding tasks, and electrical equipment repair to support operational efficiency. Lead or assist with painting projects—residential painting or facility touch-ups—to keep the property looking fresh and inviting. Supervise junior maintenance staff or contractors during complex repairs or projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using schematics and technical manuals to facilitate ongoing repairs and inspections. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance, repair operations (MRO), or similar roles within hospitality or manufacturing environments. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with HVAC systems is essential. Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair, including troubleshooting complex plumbing issues. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics for electrical and mechanical systems. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and vendors. Supervising experience is preferred to lead maintenance projects confidently while ensuring safety standards are met. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding techniques, building interior maintenance, and facilities equipment upkeep is highly desirable.
