Job Description
Job Responsibilities Performs maintenance and repair of interior and exterior of buildings. Completes general trade work; Replaces and repairs ceiling tiles, lights and light fixtures, test and repair emergency lighting and exit signs, clocks, door locks; Installs whiteboards, bulletin boards, and other college needed items. Performs complex installation, maintenance or repairs of plumbing fixtures, such as water fountains, lavatories, and commodes. Replaces and repairs ceiling tiles, lights, and changes batteries in clocks. Rearranges and moves office furniture and performs office renovations as needed. Performs A/C coil cleanings and filter replacement on indoor and outdoor equipment in accordance with the college's PM schedule. Complete building inspections as required, and document all findings and repairs. Mows lawns, trims shrubs, and hedges; edge walks and curbs. Picks up trash on grounds and in parking lots. Weeds plants and flower beds. Maintains and performs preventative maintenance on grounds keeping equipment and college vehicles. Minimum and Additional Requirements Formal training or trades experience that is directly related to the area of employment.
