Job Summary:

Stevens Realty is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Make-Ready Technician to prepare vacant rental properties for new tenants. This role is essential in ensuring homes are clean, safe, and move-in ready within required timelines.

Responsibilities:

Perform make-ready work on vacant units between tenants Basic repairs including drywall patching, touch-up painting, caulking, and minor carpentry Replace light bulbs, air filters, outlet covers, door hardware, and smoke detector batteries Inspect units for maintenance issues and report needed repairs Ensure properties meet Stevens Realty's move-in standards Coordinate with property management staff on deadlines and priorities Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

Previous make-ready, maintenance, or handyman experience preferred Ability to complete tasks independently and meet deadlines Basic knowledge of tools and minor home repairs Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties Strong attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with rental or property management companies Painting and drywall experience HVAC or plumbing knowledge (a plus, not required)
