Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable independent contractor Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in home repairs and maintenance, demonstrating the ability to handle various tasks efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Responsibilities Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks in residential properties, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting. Diagnose issues and determine the best course of action for repairs or improvements. Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed. Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are organized. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while performing tasks. Requirements Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar role with a strong understanding of various repair techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for maintenance tasks. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks on schedule. A valid driver's license is preferred for travel between job sites. Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects as needed.
