This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring guest rooms and common areas remain in excellent working condition. At least one reference, preferably two are required and will be checked. Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical fixtures, and appliances Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff Repair and maintain guest room fixtures, including doors, locks, windows, lighting, and bathroom fixtures Service and repair common area equipment, furniture, and fixtures Maintain and repair kitchen and laundry equipment Perform minor plumbing repairs, including unclogging drains and fixing leaks Perform basic electrical maintenance and repairs under code compliance Paint walls, trim, and doors as needed Maintain equipment logs and document all maintenance performed Monitor and report needed repairs or replacements to management Perform groundskeeping tasks, including landscaping maintenance and parking lot upkeep Ensure safety standards and compliance with building codes and regulations Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of hands-on handyman or maintenance experience Proficiency with common hand and power tools Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry basics Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Hotel or hospitality facility maintenance experience EPA certification for handling refrigerants (HVAC systems) What We Offer Competitive hourly or annual wage Employee discounts on room rates Safe work environment with proper tools and equipment
