Job Description

A mining equipment field service operation is hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician in Juneau, AK to repair mining drills, crushers, and heavy equipment throughout Alaska. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of field experience and hands-on Sandvik equipment expertise. Apply today for competitive pay, a company-provided service truck, and consistent overtime opportunities. Duties & Responsibilities Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Sandvik rock drills, mobile crushing equipment, and related heavy equipment at mining sites. Diagnose equipment issues and complete field repairs to minimize downtime and keep machines operating reliably. Travel extensively to remote mining sites and rural locations throughout Alaska, including Kensington, Greens Creek, Manh Choh, and Prudhoe Bay. Work independently in remote locations and manage field service priorities with minimal supervision. Use a company-provided F service truck to support field service and mobile repair work. Perform repairs safely in demanding outdoor environments that may include cold, wind, rain, and snow.
Requirements Required:
4+ years of relevant experience as a Field Service Technician, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, or similar repair professional. Hands-on expertise servicing and repairing Sandvik rock drills and mobile crushing equipment. Strong troubleshooting and repair skills on heavy equipment in field environments. Ability to work independently at remote mining sites with minimal supervision. Willing and able to travel extensively throughout Alaska. Able to work outdoors in cold, wet, windy, and demanding conditions. Available for a Monday-Friday schedule averaging approximately 60 hours per week.
Preferred:
Based in Juneau or Anchorage, AK candidates with convenient airport access in the Lower 48 will also be considered. #SJ1
Compensation:
$40.00 - $50.00/hour Company-provided F-550 service truck Accommodations and meals provided during travel
