ing Details ed: June 30, 2026 Full-Time Locations Showing 1 location Birmingham, AL 35217, USA Job Details Description Position Summary The Tool Room Clerk will report directly to the branch Service Manager and will be responsible for supporting all Service Technicians through detailed handling of a variety of duties including handling incoming calls, creating dray tickets, shipping tools to other branches, maintaining clean and orderly work area, and other duties not specified. Essential Job Functions Maintains accurate tool inventory Tracks all tooling loaned out to Technicians Inspects, cleans, and repairs returned tooling Orders and maintains shop supplies and places tool orders as require Maintains work area in accordance with Contamination Control guidelines Performs basic building maintenance operations Completes accurate dray tickets Other duties assigned by Service Management Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience:
Candidates for this position must possess strong mechanical aptitude. No formal work experience is required for this position; however individuals with prior mechanical experience will be given stronger consideration. Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills are required for this position. Candidates must the ability to quickly acquire the following required Skills and Competencies.

Exposure to physical risk and all weather conditions is associated with this position. Standing on hard surfaces for extended periods of time is often required. Physical requirements Speaking Grasping Listening Stooping Writing Lifting up to 75 lbs.
