Job Description

Are you the go-to problem solver others call when the line goes down? If tracing a fault from a control panel to a sensor, climbing a scaffold safely, and leaving a clean set of maintenance records sounds like your kind of day, Real Alloy in Goodyear wants to meet you. The challenge Can you diagnose and correct problems quickly and safely? Will you install, repair, inspect, test, calibrate, adjust, maintain, modify, construct, clean, and service complex equipment? Do you understand electrical/electronic/pneumatic recording and control systems? Can you plan procedures using prints, drawings, diagrams, manuals, and codes? Are you comfortable laying out, assembling, and wiring components for installs, replacements, and repairs? Can you conduct and record temperature and combustion surveys accurately? Are you prepared to erect/remove ladders and scaffolding and operate material handling equipment/vehicles? Will you maintain precise work orders, calibration logs, and calculation records while following all safety rules and company policies? What is on offer $28 - $32 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications Day shift, Monday through Friday What it takes to succeed Excellent attendance, dependability, and a safety-first mindset. Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the drive to apply new knowledge. Comfort working at heights; proficiency with hand/power tools and mobile equipment. Ability to interpret diagnostic instruments and read blueprints. Strong written and oral communication; respectful teamwork and the ability to work independently with little supervision. 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment. PLC experience is a plus. Foundry experience is a plus. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, and operating 16 facilities across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, we enable efficient recycling, process diverse scrap and dross streams, and reduce residual waste that could otherwise head to landfill.
