The challenge Can you diagnose and correct problems quickly and safely? Will you install, repair, inspect, test, calibrate, adjust, maintain, modify, construct, clean, and service complex equipment? Do you understand electrical/electronic/pneumatic recording and control systems? Can you plan procedures using prints, drawings, diagrams, manuals, and codes? Are you comfortable laying out, assembling, and wiring components for installs, replacements, and repairs? Can you conduct and record temperature and combustion surveys accurately? Are you prepared to erect/remove ladders and scaffolding and operate material handling equipment/vehicles? Will you maintain precise work orders, calibration logs, and calculation records while following all safety rules and company policies? Ability to interpret diagnostic instruments and read blueprints. Strong written and oral communication; respectful teamwork and the ability to work independently with little supervision. 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment. PLC experience is a plus. Foundry experience is a plus.
