Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, including the Ohmmeter, to measure electrical resistance within components Repair or replace faulty mechanical parts, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and technical specifications Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance in detailed reports for future reference Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance and implement upgrades or modifications Assist in commissioning new equipment by following installation procedures and testing operational readiness Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and parts are properly stored after use Experience Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician with a strong background in maintaining industrial machinery Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems efficiently using diagnostic tools such as the Ohmmeter Knowledge of electrical systems related to mechanical equipment is preferred but not mandatory Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures relevant to mechanical maintenance environments Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards identifying issues before they escalate Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals accurately Excellent communication skills for documenting work processes and collaborating effectively with team members
