Job Description
Full Job Description Summary This position performs maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical, electromechanical, and hydraulic tools and equipment. This job involves a variety of business skills and/or specialized skills appropriate to the team. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor and/or management.
Bilingual:
English/Spanish Perform maintenance, repair and installation of mechanical, electromechanical and hydraulic tools and equipment. Solve and repair problems on manufacturing lines; provide expert practical repair knowledge; and implement comprehensive solutions to identified problems. Inspect, service and repair various mechanical, electromechanical and hydraulic tools and equipment as necessary. Inspect, maintain and repair functional parts of equipment and machinery. This includes, but is not limited to, pipe machines, pressure cutters, cutting saws and cutting tools. Inspect, troubleshoot, disassemble, service, clean, replace, rebuild, reassemble, test, and install mechanical and electrical components and equipment. Responsible for all phases of a repair operation, from problem identification and diagnosis to complete rebuild and testing. Inventory tools and/or repair parts and components. Research and locate required parts as necessary. Provide instruction and training to other employees in your work group. Make sure safety rules are followed.Competence:
