The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Heavy equipment will include Dump trucks, backhoe, excavators, front-end loaders, compactors, skid steers and other pieces of equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator has a physically strenuous and demanding job. He/she will be lifting, pulling and managing heavy equipment and objects. Requirements High school diploma or GED, required. Verbal and writing skills (English language). Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction and safety practices, Heavy equipment operating. Computer experience, including the ability to e-mail reports, upload and download pictures and information. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, Class A preferred.
