Hydraulic Cylinders & Structural Testing Location:
Redondo Beach, CA We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to support hydraulic systems, structural testing, mechanical assembly, and maintenance of flight and development hardware. Key Responsibilities Assemble, install, and maintain hydraulic cylinders, HPUs, manifolds, hoses, and fittings . Set up and operate structural test equipment, fixtures, and load frames. Perform hydraulic pressure, proof, and structural load testing. Install and troubleshoot strain gages, load cells, LVDTs, and pressure/flow instrumentation . Perform leak checks, mechanical repairs, tube/line work, and basic fabrication. Operate cranes, forklifts, and lifting equipment safely. Document test setups, results, and maintenance activities. Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and LOTO . Requirements High School Diploma/GED. 4+ years of technician experience. Experience with hydraulic systems and/or structural/mechanical testing . Ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical instructions. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance . Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. Willingness to work off-hours, weekends, and different shifts as needed.
Pay:
$50.00

Please describe. Do you have experience setting up and troubleshooting hydraulic systems, structural test equipment, or instrumentation such as load cells, LVDTs, strain gages, or pressure/flow transducers? Are you able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance, and are you willing to work different shifts, weekends, or off-hours as required?
