Mechanical Technician 3 — Highest Level Position Overview Seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician 3 to support hydraulic cylinders, structural testing, and mechanical test operations for flight and development hardware in Redondo Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technician experience with hydraulic systems and/or structural/mechanical testing, along with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and work instructions. Basic Qualifications — Level 3 High School Diploma or GED. 4+ years of experience performing mechanical/technician responsibilities. Experience interpreting and working from one or more of the following: Blueprints Technical drawings Diagrams Schematics Technical instructions Work instructions Experience with hydraulic systems and/or structural/mechanical testing of flight or development hardware. Must be a U.S. Citizen . Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance . An active clearance is not required , but the candidate must be clearable . Preferred Qualifications — Not Required Active DoD Secret Clearance . Experience with servo-hydraulic structural test systems and controllers . Experience with data acquisition systems , including LabVIEW . Experience installing strain gages . Experience supporting calibration of load and pressure instrumentation . Experience working in a clean room environment . Experience handling delicate or fragile flight hardware . Experience with mechanical repair and metal fabrication . Key Role Focus The Mechanical Technician 3 will primarily support: Hydraulic cylinder systems Structural and mechanical testing Flight and development hardware Test equipment and instrumentation Mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and fabrication Test setup and execution in a controlled engineering environment

Note:

This is a Level 3 position, with Level 3 being the highest technician level . Preferred qualifications are helpful but not required . An active Secret Clearance is a plus, but candidates who can successfully obtain a Secret Clearance will be considered. #IND1
