Job Summary:
This position is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing equipment at customer sites. Service Techs serve as the face of the company, providing excellent customer service while ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely. PDQ Equipment supplies tools! Key Responsibilities Conducting thorough inspections of equipment to identify mechanical issues Perform skilled repairs- electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems Use of diagnostic tools/software to pinpoint problems Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, and replacing filters Installing upgrades and making modifications to equipment to improve performance and efficiency.
Customer Service Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Certification from a vocational or completion of apprenticeship is preferred 2-5 years previous experience in a field technician role requiredKey Skills Needed:
Master-level knowledge of major equipment brands (John Deere, Kubota, Genie, JLG, etc.); manufacturer-specific certifications or welding/fabrication skills are highly preferred. Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems and theory Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Clean driving record Good communication skills Customer service Hourly rate is based on experience and qualificationsBenefits:
