Join our Team! Mountain Temp Services is hiring an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic for a growing company in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs. We're looking for a mechanic with a well-rounded mechanical background who is comfortable working on a variety of heavy-duty trucks, construction equipment, trailers, and fleet vehicles. If you enjoy diagnosing problems, making quality repairs, and keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and other fleet vehicles. Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, fluid services, inspections, and equipment servicing. Troubleshoot diesel, gas, hydraulic, electrical, brake, steering, and suspension systems. Repair or replace mechanical components, including brakes, bearings, pumps, hoses, sensors, and other parts. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and verify repairs. Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair recommendations. Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic, Equipment Mechanic, or Automotive Technician. Well-rounded mechanical experience with heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, trailers, or fleet maintenance (not limited to diesel engines). Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment. Valid driver's license required. High school diploma or GED preferred. Reliable, safety-minded, and committed to producing quality work.
