Starting Pay:
depending on experience Applicants must have their own complete set of tools.
Equipment Includes:
Excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, compactors, and skid steers ½-ton through 1-ton pickup trucks, PM work Semi-trucks and heavy-haul trucks Side-dump, live-bottom, and equipment trailers
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, fleet trucks, and trailers Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air brakes, suspension, and drivetrains Troubleshoot equipment and vehicle breakdowns Perform shop and road-service repairs as needed Complete inspections and DOT-related repairs Maintain accurate service and repair records Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
Requirements:
Must provide your own mechanic tools Experience repairing heavy construction equipment, fleet trucks, semis, and trailers Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities Knowledge of preventative-maintenance programs and DOT requirements Valid driver's license Dependable and able to work independently CDL, welding, and fabrication experience are preferred
