Job Description

Claystone Construction, Inc is a growing heavy equipment excavating company established in 2003 seeking a Shop Fabrication Welder. We have an extensive fleet of CAT equipment consisting of: 627 Scrapers, 40 Ton Haul Trucks, Dozers, Water Trucks, Agg Tractors, Motor Graders (Blades), Excavators, Loaders, Compactors, Semi Trucks, and Skidsteers. Good working environment, no overnight travel, local front range work, excellent service trucks, and great team atmosphere.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Safety and product knowledge Positive attitude and enjoy working in a team environment Strong work ethic with a focus on quality and safety Skilled in all welding processes Capable of accomplishing task independently without direct supervision Basic reasoning, organizational, communication, computer, and math skills Must have own tools Recondition or fabricate components or parts to manufacturer's specifications Skilled in all fitting procedures Be able to inspect structural condition on equipment Determine the reusability of parts in accordance with published guidelines Mark material with proper identification Able to prepare an inspection report Able to order replacement parts Able to troubleshoot and diagnose welder problems Other possible duties assigned by manager Must be able to pass a fit for duty test, drug screening, and any other job related test/screenings
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Graduate or have a GED 1-3 years of experience, preferably in the heavy equipment industry Salary dependent on experience and education Possible experience using
SIS and CAT ET Benefits:
