Job Type:
Full-time, Monday-Friday (Subject to change), 40-45
Hours Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour About the Role Are you handy, detail-oriented, and love working outdoors? TrailersPlus is looking for a Parts & Service Associate to join our Grand Junction, CO team! In this role, you will be the backbone of our lot operations. You'll handle everything from inspecting and servicing trailers to installing parts, managing inventory, and keeping our facility looking top-notch. If you have strong mechanical inclination and enjoy a role where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do (Essential Duties)
Service & Maintenance:
Assist with trailer servicing, part/accessory installations, and warranty work.
Quality Control:
Conduct daily safety and quality control inspections on all lot trailers.
Inventory & Deliveries:
Assist with inbound and outbound deliveries of trailers, parts, and supplies, ensuring all paperwork is submitted accurately.
Lot & Shop Upkeep:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility (building, shop, and lot) to promote a professional and secure environment.
Equipment Operation:
Operate a Kubota tractor (or equivalent) and safely use power tools and welding equipment (we provide the certification!).
Customer & Team Support:
Collaborate closely with store management, assist with trailer sales when needed, and participate in team meetings. What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and excellent attention to detail.
Tool Savvy:
Ability to operate power tools and a tractor; willingness to complete company-sponsored welding certification.
Communication:
Ability to read/interpret safety rules and instructions, write basic reports, and communicate effectively with customers. Spoken fluency in Spanish is a plus!
Basic Math:
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, percentages, and basic measurements.
Physical Capability:
Ability to routinely lift 50-75 lbs. Comfortable climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing onto/off of trailers. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
