You will be the backbone of our operational uptime, handling everything from routine preventative maintenance to complex engine, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities Diagnose & Repair:
Troubleshoot and fix issues across a wide range of assets, including large articulated tractors, forage harvesters (choppers), semi trucks, skid steer and wheel loaders, feed trucks, and support vehicles. Diagnostic tools and software such as Cummins Insite, CatET, and Deere Pro Service are provided.
Preventative Maintenance:
Manage oil changes, filter replacements, greasing schedules, and pre-season inspections to minimize field breakdowns.
Shop & Inventory Management:
Keep a clean, organized shop workspace and track inventory for common replacement parts, filters, and fluids. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of direct mechanical experience OR 2 years of experience in agricultural production.
Training:
We are willing to train less experienced applicants who demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude, solid work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of diesel engines, heavy equipment hydraulics, and 12V electrical systems.
Tools:
Possession of your own hand tools is not a requirement. We provide the tools and equipment needed to complete the work.
License:
Valid driver's license required to operate support vehicles or test-drive equipment. Work Environment and Physical Abilities Ability to climb in and out of vehicles and equipment. Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently. Requires standing, stooping, bending for extended periods of time. Requires full range of body motion including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. Normal range of hearing and vision.
Job Details Position Type:
Full-Time Wage:
$27.00•$50.00 per hour, heavily dependent on your skills and qualifications.
Shift:
Monday•Friday from 7 am to 5 pm. During harvest months, variable hours Monday•Saturday. Breaks and lunch hour are provided and required.
Closing:
