Heavy Equipment Technician - Winter Park About the Role As a Heavy Equipment Technician at REIC Rentals, you'll be the technical expert responsible for ensuring our rental equipment performs at its best-whether in our Winter Park shop. In this hands-on role, you'll support critical operations across oilfield, construction, and industrial environments by diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings Maintain accurate service records using mobile and digital reporting tools Provide professional customer support, including training customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance Collaborate with teammates and escalate complex technical issues when necessary Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures Schedule Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM What You'll Bring 3+ years of field service technician experience in oilfield, construction, heavy equipment, or industrial environments Personal set of technician tools Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing gas, diesel, HVAC, hydraulic, electrical, and lighting systems Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience supporting a diverse equipment fleet Ability to work safely in physically demanding environments and varying weather conditions Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic information Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally CDL preferred but not required Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR required) Must be at least 21 years of age Veterans encouraged to apply!
