at CRC Transport in Bear, Delaware, United States Job Description Perform diagnostics, inspections, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, trailers, and other industrial machinery. Use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex systems such as hydraulics, transmissions, electrical components, air brakes, suspension, HVAC systems, and diesel engines. Fabricate parts or modify equipment using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet operational needs. Conduct tire service, brake repairs, alignments, and wheel balancing to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain detailed service records for all repairs and preventative maintenance tasks performed on fleet vehicles and machinery. Assist in heavy lifting operations using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair findings clearly and offering solutions that maximize equipment uptime.
