Outdoor Power Equipment Mechanic

Daytona Outdoor Power is currently seeking an experienced Outdoor Power Equipment Mechanic. We service both commercial and consumer equipment such as Toro, Husqvarna, Echo, Honda, Wright, and Spartan. Our hours are

M-F, 8-5.

Responsibilities would include: Diagnosis of machines, provide estimates, repair of machines. Working with various brands of equipment. Use of computer software to record all maintenance on equipment and part look up. Complete proper paperwork required for all jobs. Ability to read and interpret documents related to the operation and maintenance of machinery. Good communication skills with customers as well as fellow employees. Maintaining a clean work area while following all safety rules. Participation in training programs, continuing education, and becoming accredited by our vendor partners.

Qualifications:

A comprehensive knowledge of small engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems and small hand-held equipment. The ability to use a personal computer to look up parts, complete repair orders and communicate effectively with our customers. The candidate is responsible for having his/her complete set of tools.
