$30.00-$40.00 per hour (Based on Experience) RPM Crushers & Screens is seeking an experienced and motivated Aggregate Equipment Service Technician to join our growing team in Lakeland, FL. This position is ideal for a skilled technician with hands-on experience servicing and maintaining aggregate equipment including crushers, screens, conveyors, shredders, and other heavy machinery used in mining, demolition, recycling, and aggregate processing operations. If you enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment, working in the field, and helping customers keep their operations running efficiently, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on aggregate processing equipment including crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders, and shredders. Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled service on a variety of aggregate and recycling equipment. Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine effective repair solutions using diagnostic tools and technical resources. Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize production. Complete detailed service reports documenting inspections, repairs performed, and parts used. Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment issues, repair recommendations, and job progress. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all company safety policies and industry regulations. Stay current on new equipment technology, service techniques, and industry best practices. Travel to customer job sites as needed throughout Florida and surrounding areas. Requirements High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in diesel, heavy equipment, or aggregate machinery preferred. Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or service technician, preferably with aggregate, recycling, or crushing and screening equipment. Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and service documentation. Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures in the aggregate or construction industry. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus. Willingness to travel as required.
