Job Description
Generator Technician $80,000 - $90,000 + Overtime + Company Vehicle + OEM Training + Progression + Benefits Package Miami, Florida - Field based across South Florida Are you a Generator Technician or Field Service Technician with experience diagnosing and maintaining diesel engines and electrical systems looking for a role that allows you to get home at the end of each working day? In this field based role, you will travel to customer sites across South Florida to perform preventative maintenance, servicing, testing, fault finding, and repairs on a range of generators. You will troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, control panels, batteries, and related generator equipment. This position focuses on diagnostics and servicing rather than major engine overhauls or rebuilds.
The Role:
- Perform preventative maintenance, servicing, testing, and repairs on generators
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults across engines, control panels and generators
- Travel to customer sites across South Florida using a company provided service vehicle
The Candidate:
- Experience servicing generators, engines, heavy equipment, or similar
- Mechanical fault finding skills with experience troubleshooting basic electrical systems
- Comfortable working independently in a field based customer facing role
