Lead Mechanic

Duties Ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance Diagnose complex mechanical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and hands-on inspections Perform repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and farm machinery Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, and transmission servicing Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, and power tools Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and air brakes Lead safety initiatives by enforcing proper procedures for heavy lifting, equipment operation, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Requirements Proven mechanic experience with dealership or industrial equipment preferred Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and farm machinery Strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs such as engine rebuilds, transmission work, brake repair, shocks & struts replacement Proficiency with schematics interpretation and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; experience with welding and soldering is a plus Excellent mechanical knowledge across vehicle maintenance, hydraulic systems, suspension alignment, HVAC systems, and diesel engine repair Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or leading mechanic teams Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environmental conditions Join us as a Lead Mechanic to leverage your technical expertise in a dynamic environment where your skills will keep our fleet running smoothly!
