In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of small equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational performance. Your expertise will help keep our equipment running smoothly, supporting various operational needs across our facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to the efficiency and safety of our operations. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on small engines, power tools, compactors, and other equipment using schematics and technical manuals Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and mechanical system inspections to prevent breakdowns Troubleshoot electrical systems, including wiring, electrical diagnostics, and component testing to identify faults accurately Repair diesel engines and other power generation systems with precision and adherence to safety standards Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery efficiently Follow safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks to ensure a safe work environment Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and parts inventories for all equipment serviced Experience Proven dealership or service technician experience working with small engines or related machinery Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair or equipment troubleshooting Familiarity with schematics, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical systems repair techniques Experience repairing diesel engines and power generation systems such as generators or heavy-duty equipment Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment for effective repairs Knowledge of Bobcat equipment or similar heavy machinery is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Join us as a Small Equipment Mechanic if you're passionate about maintaining top-tier machinery through expert troubleshooting and repairs.
