Job Description

Heavy Equipment Technician Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is ideal for someone 'hands-on', who enjoys working with customers, and who has an eagle eye for detail. In this role you'll: Help as required to the rest of the Detailed Equipment Inspection (DEI) Assist the Maintenance team with delivery in the field , as required Actively support our commitment to

to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers, and customers. Here's what you bring: High school graduate. College education is a plus. Knowledge of - or the desire to learn about - construction equipment (Loaders, Tractors, Excavators and trucks) Proficient with computers and good working knowledge/experience using MS Office Suite products (e.g. Word, Excel). Documentation processing experience is an asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus. You must be process-oriented and comfortable adhering to company policies and procedures to be successful in this role. Strong customer service orientation. You have a natural ease in dealing with customers. Excellent organizational skills. You're the type that leaves no detail unattended. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines. Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and self-directed, and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively. You thrive working as part of a team and pitch-in wherever needed. You like to work hard but still have fun on the job. This job will require you to : Have a valid, clean driver's license Work both indoors and outdoors year-round and climb on and off large equipment and trucks Work regular overtime, some weekend hours.
