Job Description

Entry Level Mechanic/Technician Reports to Shop Supervisor•
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for vehicle maintenance of tractor-trailers and repair on all company vehicles as needed General knowledge and mechanical skills Reliable transportation Basic hand tools Be able to lift to 70lbs (Over 70lbs team lift required) Basic Computer Skills requires (Diagnostic computer skills a plus) Able to work a 40-hour work week Able to work occasional overtime Preventive Maintenance Work required Must be trained in basic air brake and ABS functions and diagnostic.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • One-year mechanical experience required
Education and Work Experience:
  • Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred
  • Petroleum tank repair experience and certifications highly preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience working on air brake systems
  • Ability to perform annual federal inspections on trucks and trailers
  • Must provide own tools up to 1/2" drive.
