This role involves providing on-the-spot vehicle repair and maintenance services, ensuring drivers stay safe and on the road. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in vehicle mechanics, particularly diesel engines, and possess the ability to perform mechanical repairs efficiently in various roadside situations. This is a paid position suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills in vehicle maintenance and roadside assistance. Responsibilities Perform diesel engine repairs and diagnose mechanical issues in vehicles, primarily focusing on diesel-powered systems. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Provide roadside assistance by responding promptly to emergency calls, helping stranded drivers with repairs or towing as needed. Repair mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, and other vital vehicle components. Assess vehicle conditions on-site and determine necessary repairs or interventions to restore safety and functionality. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during roadside assistance calls. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all repair activities to protect oneself and others. Skills Basic knowledge of diesel mechanics and vehicle maintenance procedures. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and perform repairs in a timely manner. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and customer service. Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally. Ability to work independently in various roadside environments under different weather conditions. Willingness to learn new skills related to vehicle repair and roadside assistance operations.
