Job Description

Job Summary The Cyclone Golf Performance Center is seeking qualified candidates for the new role of Turf Equipment Technician/Mechanic. The Turf Equipment Technician/Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing golf course maintenance equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. This position performs preventative maintenance and repairs on mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, small engines, and other turf equipment to support daily golf course operations. Duties Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair turf maintenance equipment. Perform preventative maintenance, including lubrication, sharpening, adjustments, and scheduled servicing. Troubleshoot and repair gasoline, diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Keep the shop clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Coordinate equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Assist with equipment setup and operator training as needed. This individual should also be familiar with the operation of the previously mentioned pieces of equipment and should expect to be a part of routine mowing/maintenance practices from time to time. Skills Experience maintaining and repairing turf equipment, agricultural equipment, automotive, or diesel machinery. Knowledge of small engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and welding is preferred. Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs independently. Valid driver's license required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Experience in golf course, landscape, or agricultural equipment maintenance. Technical or vocational training in mechanics or a related field. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
