Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heavy machinery and construction equipment. Your expertise will ensure our equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably to support our recycling operations and land reclamation projects. Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other machinery Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections to prevent breakdowns Troubleshoot electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and HVAC components using schematics and diagnostic tools Fabricate parts or modify equipment as needed to meet operational requirements Weld, solder, or perform mechanical assembly to repair or enhance machinery performance Test repaired equipment for proper operation and safety compliance before returning it to service Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs in accordance with OEM standards Experience Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Service Technician in industrial settings Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance, electrical diagnostics, automotive repair, and equipment troubleshooting Familiarity with OEM specifications for brands such as Sennebogen or similar heavy equipment manufacturers Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, schematics reading, and diagnostic software Experience with fabrication techniques including welding and metal work is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Join us to keep vital machinery running smoothly! Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
